ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
Enrichment programs complement our academic curriculum to supply our students with a well-balanced learning environment. They stimulate creativity and give them opportunities to express their unique talents. The following enrichment programs are fully integrated into our daily program and curriculum.
LANGUAGE ENRICHMENT
KOREAN LANGUAGE
Our teachers use visuals and an interactive foreign language curriculum to help students explore the world of Korean language. Students learn how to read and write the Korean alphabet and learn comprehensive conversation vocabulary. From a young age, children are able to understand and converse in Korean. We find it important that children learn how to communicate in different forms and learn about other the history and cultures of other countries.
MATH ENRICHMENT
GABE
Invented by Froebel, these play materials are designed to resemble patterns and sequences in nature. Our Gabe instructors guide our students to utilize Froebel’s structured toys to create models and different shapes. These structured materials help activate your child’s creative instincts by teaching them to think in different geometric dimensions and patterns.
CREATIVE ENRICHMENT
DRAMA
Using songs and dance motions that children enjoy, our drama class is a great way for children to understand and express their emotions in a healthy way. Students have a lot of fun performing their roles on stage during our annual Christmas and Graduation concerts. This experience helps develop their public speaking skills and empowers them to be confident on stage.
SAND PLAY
Our sand play teacher plans a monthly curriculum that aligns with that month’s theme. The sand play activities enrich the classroom curriculum by allowing the child to have physical contact with their studies. The moon sand that we use is both therapeutic and expressive. We have found that this extremely elevates the depth and pace of the child’s learning and development.
