Farewell 2016 Graduates!

I:Remnant's 2016 Graduation was held on June 24, 2016 at True Love Lutheran Church's beautiful chapel. The ceremony included several amazing performances by our students.

It feels like just yesterday when I saw these students walk through our gates for the first time, holding onto their mom and dad's hands. I was so proud to see them now walk confidently across the aisle to receive their diplomas, wearing their red and yellow cap and gowns.

Pastor Kim Min Hee, who has sent 5 of his 11 grandchildren to our school, gave a wonderful prayer to bless the graduating class. Just as Samuel poured the anointing oil on young David, he blessed our children and referenced Philippians 1:6, where it is written that we must be confident that "he who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus". I have full faith that this Word of God will be fulfilled through the future and dreams of our students.

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light" (1 Peter 2:9). This year's graduates are the main figures who will absolutely enjoy this blessing.

So to our graduates I want to say:

Fly and go into that wide world, onto that clear path.

Wearing the crown of Glory, with the Word of God in your hands, and wearing the belt of Truth.

Your name is Remnant.

The whole world and the whole nation is waiting for you.

With Love,

Lydia Song
