Enrichment Programs
Enrichment programs complement our academic curriculum to supply our students with a well-balanced learning environment. They stimulate creativity and give them opportunities to express their unique talents. The following enrichment programs are fully integrated into our daily program and curriculum.
Physical Enrichment
Ballet & Tae Kwon Do
Our school offers ballet and Tae Kwon Do lessons for children 2.5 years or older (starting in our Love Class). Parents who are interested in these special classes have the option to have your child take one or both classes. They are conducted once a week for 20-25 minutes per class. Starting in Upper Love Class (3 years), TKD and Ballet classes will have 2 performances per year. Both these classes promote discipline, focus and explore their bodies through music, movement and overall physcial development.
Creative + Real World Enrichment
Drama & Performance
Using songs and dance motions that children enjoy, our drama class is a great way for children to understand and express their emotions in a healthy way. Students have a lot of fun performing their roles on stage during our annual Christmas and Graduation concerts. This experience helps develop their public speaking skills and empowers them to be confident on stage.
Learning From Our Hens
Our live hens bring the wonder of nature to life! Our children have the unique opportunity for real-world learning and exploration. Children observe, learn and even watch them lay eggs and sometimes welcome new chicks! Fostering curiosity, scientific inquiry and a deeper understanding of the natural world, our hens provide a fascinating and engaging way for children to learn about animal behavior, life cycles, and the joys of discovery!
